With more than 210 pages and 4000 keywords, Your High-Risk Pregnancy is intended as a quick reference when your pregnancy or doctor's visit raises worrisome questions about your health or the baby's health. It is designed especially to be used to get complete explanations and information about situations or developments that occur in the course of pregnancy, that may cause anxiety and concern.

There are extensive cross-references (links) from one topic to related topics, and a complete Search feature to find any topic you want.

This book is different from the usual "pregnancy book" - it is specifically intended as a portable, instantly-available resource for

Busy obstetricians may not have the time to spend with you explaining what they think a problem means, or what to expect from testing, or how serious a finding really is. That is what this book is for. I don't want you to have to worry waiting for the results of some test or waiting for an ultrasound to be done or having to be admitted to the hospital - the information presented here can help you understand why things are done and what they usually entail and mean.

Take this book on your iPhone or iPod touch to doctor's visits, ultrasounds, other tests, and if you are admitted to the hospital. Bring it with you when you go to the hospital to have the baby. Look up things that you hear but weren't told enough about.

Bookmark any or all sections that pertain to any problems that occur, so that you can review these issues of concern with your physician, a nurse, or an ultrasound technician. Use this list of bookmarks to keep track of questions you may have about how the pregnancy is going and how your baby is doing.
