• Admission to the hospital

• Control blood pressure with intravenous medication

• Continuous fetal monitoring

• Administration of magnesium sulfate to prevent eclamptic seizures

• If the baby is more than 34 weeks of gestation, delivery by induction of labor or cesarean section is recommended.

• If the baby is less than 32 weeks of gestation, in some cases delivery can be delayed with careful observation of lab values and symptoms, and fetal monitoring.
